Your impact
As Head of HR (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the HR team and a motivated and talented 300-strong workforce at JSMD. You will play a central role in setting us up for growth with a clear focus on operational excellence. You will align the needs of our employees and future-oriented HR tools with our corporate goals. You use and promote a strong team culture and a hands-on mentality to create a performance-oriented culture in which everyone knows their individual responsibilities.
Your responsibility
- Overall responsibility for HR: Sparring partner and professional advisor for management and executives in all HR-related and employment law issues as well as further development of the corporate culture, management of organizational development and support for change processes.
- Recruiting & Employer Branding: Responsibility for holistic talent management with positioning as an employer and effective recruiting and onboarding processes.
- People Development: Design and implementation of development and performance strategies through targeted training programs, employee retention measures and effective performance management to promote corporate culture, individual development and goal achievement.
- Operational excellence: Ensuring all administrative processes including payroll accounting and monitoring relevant HR key figures.
- HR governance: Trusting cooperation with the works council as well as the creation and implementation of company-wide or Group-wide regulations in close cooperation with Legal, HR colleagues at Group level and the works council.
- HR Controlling & HR IT: Efficient management of personnel costs and the HR budget in line with strategic objectives and the further development of HR IT systems for data-based decision-making and process automation.
- HR projects: Further development of strategic fields of action such as the introduction of remuneration structures, working time recording or artificial intelligence.
Your expertise
- Degree in HR, business administration or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in senior HR roles; experience in e-commerce or online business models is a plus.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire the existing HR team and the JSMD family and actively shape change processes.
- Strategic thinking paired with sound operational expertise in HR processes.
- Confident handling of data analyses for personnel planning and well-founded decision-making.
- Good knowledge of labor law, works constitution law, compliance standards and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in successful negotiation and cooperation with the works council and in dealing with complex labor law frameworks.
