Your Mission

• As Director of Redemption (m/f/d), you will have full responsibility for the redemption of our experience vouchers and the booking of the corresponding experiences. These processes are crucial for customer satisfaction and are therefore among our top strategic priorities.
• By delivering an exceptional customer value and offering attractive cross- and upselling opportunities, you will play a key role in driving revenue and business growth.
• You will lead a dedicated, cross-functional team comprising experts in Product, IT, UX/UI, and Web Analytics, ensuring a continuous flow of improvements and innovations for the benefit of our customers. In your role you report directly to the CEO.

Your Responsibility

• Redemption Platform Ownership: Lead the strategic development and daily operations of our platform to redeem experience vouchers, ensuring best-in-class performance and integrating commercial, functional, technological and operational aspects in a very entrepreneurial manner.
• Success Rate Optimization: Implement a data-driven approach to find and suggest the perfect experience booking options, enhance UX/UI, streamline the user journey, and maximize the rate of successful redemptions.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Continuously assess and analyze experience availability and booking data to optimize the “match making”, deep-dive into web analytics and customer insights to drive continuous improvements and personalized experiences.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle-strategy, feature development, roadmap planning, implementation, and release management.
• Agile Leadership: Foster a fast-paced, test-and-learn culture, empowering your team to innovate, fail fast, and optimize quickly.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with peer units (Partner Management, Customer Management, Web shop and Customer Service) to create a seamless customer experience.
• Growth & Innovation: Identify customer loyalty and monetarization options of redeeming customers and transform them into experience voucher buyers.

Your Profile

• 4+ years of leadership experience in e-commerce, preferably at a director level in commerce, marketplaces or travel.
• Proven track record of growing e-commerce businesses, ideally with P&L responsibility.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams, working with software development teams, and implementing agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong data-driven mindset, with experience in A/B testing, data & web analytics, customer behavior analysis and ideally a solid understanding of AI opportunities.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluent German language skills are essential.
• Experience in management consulting (3+ years preferred) is a plus.
• Passion for customer experience, engagement, and digital innovation.
