Junior Supply Chain Manager

WHAT ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR?

Together with my team, I am responsible for all activities relating to the haptic products of the Jochen Schweizer & mydays brands. This includes operational tasks in the areas of production, shipping and sales as well as strategic topics such as demand planning and process optimization. I am also occasionally involved in projects relating to sustainability throughout the supply chain.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE JSMD?

JSMD and especially my first interviewees at the company made a very open-minded, relaxed and motivated impression on me right from the start. These qualities were extremely important to me for my future colleagues and the corporate culture. I also wanted to work in an environment of sporty, active and inspiring people, which I definitely found at JSMD.

WHAT DO YOU PARTICULARLY LIKE ABOUT JSMD?

I particularly like the relaxed atmosphere and the office, including the roof terrace :) I like the fact that the open office space also brings us into contact with other departments and encourages an interdisciplinary exchange.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPMENT?

Always remain open to new and unfamiliar topics and look to the left and right from time to time. Taking on challenges outside your comfort zone and not being afraid to make mistakes. In addition, to recognize your own strengths and consciously use them in your day-to-day work.

WHAT TRAINING STEPS DID YOU TAKE?

B.Sc. in Economics, M.Sc. in Business Psychology & M.Sc. in Digital Marketing

WHAT EXPERIENCE HAVE YOU ALREADY GAINED?

I have found that you don't necessarily have to limit yourself to one area, as you can see from my varied CV. Especially as a career starter, you can be open to new areas and try something new. Through my studies and various internships, I have learned where my strengths lie and which tasks I like to do in my day-to-day work and which I don't. In addition to finding the right job, it is particularly important for me to find a company that I can identify with and where I can find like-minded people who share my values.

WHAT TYPE OF EXPERIENCE ARE YOU?

I am definitely the action & adventure type. In my free time, I like to spend time in nature or push my limits with sports. The adrenaline rush and my best friends are a must. I have already completed 2 parachute jumps and a bungee jump including a water dip.

JOCHEN SCHWEIZER OR MYDAYS?

Jochen Schweizer, because I love extreme sports and the adrenaline rush that comes with them. There's hardly anything I wouldn't try out from the JS range of experiences.
