Finance Business Partner

WHAT ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR?

I act as an interface between Finance, our Business Unit Partner - and Category Management. I support and analyze the specialist area in all financial matters.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE JSMD?

What I particularly like about JSMD: the product itself and the vision behind it, a team-oriented and friendly working environment, the variety of complex but also exciting tasks and challenges that allow you to grow.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPMENT?

My personal recipe is based on several ingredients: Setting clear personal goals, constantly seeking feedback, continuously learning new topics/skills, good teamwork and open communication, flexibility and the willingness to adapt, maintaining perseverance and motivation even when faced with difficult challenges and, last but not least, never losing your sense of humor and joy/fun.

WHAT TRAINING STEPS DID YOU TAKE?

A-levels, then a Bachelor of Business Administration B.Sc. in Augsburg with a focus on Finance and then a Master of Business Administration M.Sc. with a focus on Finance, in particular Accounting and Controlling in Augsburg. In between, I spent a semester abroad in Karlstad, Sweden (courses: Sustainable Management and Business Marketing)

WHAT EXPERIENCE HAVE YOU ALREADY GAINED?

Internships in auditing and in accounting & controlling at an e-commerce company. Working student in Controlling at a laboratory service provider for doctors and hospitals and at JSMD in Finance with a focus on Controlling. After graduating, I started here as a Junior Controller, was promoted to Controller and have been a Finance Business Partner in Partner Management since April 2024.

WHAT TYPE OF EXPERIENCE ARE YOU?

I tend towards the experience types: Creative, Discovering, Social, Nature lover, Relaxing and Enjoying. I love going out with friends, whether it's on a city trip/wellness vacation or to (new) delicious restaurants/cafés/bars. From time to time I'm also more active and go hiking in the mountains or I'm paddling on a lake with my SUP. There are also creative days when I'm busy making new DIY things.

JOCHEN SCHWEIZER OR MYDAYS?

As a result, my heart beats more for mydays, as I really like the brand's vision: spending time together with your loved ones, creating shared memories that will last forever. However, I am also very enthusiastic about the Jochen Schweizer brand, as I am fascinated by people who experience adrenaline, adventure and extreme sports.
