I am responsible for HR at JSMD, which means that all HR-related processes are in my area. This includes personnel administration including payroll accounting, personnel controlling, personnel development, recruiting and employer branding as well as the HR Business Partners. I also try to provide the management with advice and support on all employee-related topics.
After two years at a software provider and a brief interlude in the public sector, I was longing for a fast, dynamic and flexible environment that would give me as much scope as possible to not only accompany topics as an external service provider, but to really be responsible for the topics in their entirety. In addition, my interview partners at the time made my decision really easy thanks to their open and appreciative manner.
I'm a huge fan of the way we work together. It started from day one: Everyone I dealt with made me feel welcome, which is something I've never experienced before. I also think it's great that internal development is so important here. We regularly promote employees to management positions and further development is also possible within the individual career paths.
There is an organizational psychology recipe called job crafting: this means that employees actively shape their tasks, relationships and their own view of work. The aim is to better adapt the work to their own strengths and interests, which increases satisfaction and performance. Of course, this is not always possible, but I try to apply my fundamentally positive attitude to my work and see the positive side of even unpleasant tasks.
I completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in educational science in Regensburg. To gain the necessary practical experience, I also worked as a student trainee at a large mechanical engineering company. During this time, I decided to do a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. As I was working a lot with SAP HR and other HR IT systems at the time, I decided to focus on business informatics.
As I really enjoyed my major in business informatics, I am an educator at heart and I generally enjoy working with everything to do with numbers, I was looking for the perfect fit to start my career. I found it at a software provider for personnel controlling. As a consultant there, I looked after customers and implemented a personnel cost tool with them. This allowed me to get to know many different companies and people. I still benefit from this varied experience today.
That's a good question! I like being with friends and being outside a lot. I like sewing and we have a poodle dog who likes to chill on the couch with us, but is also up for any outing.
I really want to do another skydive - in this case Jochen Schweizer. However, my last booking was for an overnight stay in a wellness hotel, which I'd rather do with mydays. That's the nice thing about us, it's versatile in so many ways.
